Tom Schmid is an investment advisor representative and national sales manager for Anchor Capital. He acts as a resource to other financial advisors to help them increase assets in their practices that are under management through Anchor Capital’s money management platform. In addition, Tom works with private clients to help define a path to meet and/or exceed their financial goals.

Growing up in a small southwestern town in Minnesota, Tom is grounded in the belief that trust and integrity are key foundations to any successful relationship. Foremost, he believes in getting to know his customers and consistently putting their best interests first.

Tom provides Anchor Capital with 15 years of successful sales experience. His knack for easily developing strong relationships with others is one of Anchor's greatest assets. He has conducted numerous sales presentations to professional groups as well as to individuals interested in sharing the benefits that Anchor Capital may provide. He holds Series 65 and Series 7 securities licenses, as well as life, accident and health insurance licenses. Tom earned a B.S. degree in marketing and management from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

In his free time Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, three sons, and friends, and volunteering as a coach for various sports. He is also an avid reader of financial periodicals.
